Hey! Found a brand new Surefire E1W for $70 and was just wondering if thats a decent price? And also how "rare" are these lights? up until yesterday I never even heard of them. (thinking about a light for the GF since she liked my E1e)

nice light., true, they were a fairly limited run, so its a unique item.
I got myself and E1 and E2 winelight and love em.
nothing wrong with the color IMHO.
I'm sure your girl will enjoy it also.
one thing abot E1's in general, they're not as bright as some people would like. however, the output suits some folks just fine for their purposes.
if you want it brighter, there's a replacement bulb for it made my lumensfactory to brighten it up.

IMHO that sounds like a reasonable price for it, especially if it is in mint condition. The E1W-BY WineLight and E2W-BY WineLight II were limited production runs of the E1e and E2e with Type II burgundy anodizing instead of HA-III and IMHO they look gorgeous. :thumbsup:
