hi guys, i own a radio controlled car and the days are getting shorter and shorter ... i thought that i'd rather do abit of soldering and wiring than looking forward to long nights indoors , and in the process pimp up the look of my ride a little bit...

any of you know the best way about this? maybe you already have some experience? im not talking about buying light kits which are just a bunch of cheap chinese leds costing as much as a multi mode tactical torch just because they can plug straight into the receiver... but i am looking for similar qualities, like being waterproof and tough, and also being able to take 4.8 to 6 volts so i can run it off the onboard circuitry... any ideas? the brighter the better, too!

Just look around...there is plenty of info in this forum. You will have to design & build your own...thats half the fun...

you may need rubber sealers or maybe a silicone sealant to seal it against water
