Should I buy these discounted rayovac hybrids

yes, for that price I would buy more AAs as I already have enough AAA hybrids. They are great for putting in 3AAA based luxeon lights you use occasionally.

At that price, go ahead and buy them.

While the Eneloops get all the glory around here, there's nothing wrong with the Hybrids. Pick the right battery for the right job.

Been using 16 aa's and 16 aaa's for 3 or 4 years with no problems at all. Grab all you can!

they are LSD cells, I have rayovac hybrids that are 3 years old that I haven't charged yet that are still fine at 1.26v

For that price, hell yeah!

Their perfect for some remote controls, wireless mice and aaa flashlights.

Yes they are worth $3. They are not necessarily worth the original selling price of $10.

Rayovac Hybrids are OK but have their limitations. In the AAA size they will wear out more quickly than other makes and they have a lower ability to deliver current in high drain applications.
