Hi,
I hope someone can help me. I got two of the 7612, multi mode circuit boards from DX. I tried them both in my light but I only get one level. I guess it's high. It will not switch levels or modes. I wired the positive to D1 and the negative to Q3. Are both boards bad or did I do something wrong. Maybe I just don't know how to use it. Anyone????
Thanks,
Mike

I have used lots of these in 3 and 5 mode variants, only difference is the programming. Wires to solder pads, + at D1 and - at Q3. Never had any problems. Make sure that all the legs on the pic is attached to the board. Maybe yours aren't programmed, might be they forgot to program them at the manufacurers.

Stefan,
I will look at the Pic when I get home. I am on St Croix on vacation now.
I have used the 5 mode boards before. They all worked flawlessly.
Thank You,
Mike

I put this in a dx model C2 and I get all 16 modes. Sounds like you ether have a solder bridge or a defective driver.
