Slippery AL-PD

I'm fortunate to have both an aluminum PD and one of the last run TI-PD's.

Love 'em both, but find that the finish on the aluminum one is quite slippery.

Anyone have any suggestions for adding some grip to it? Was toying with the idea of stripping the HA off and trying one of the new "wonder" gun finishes, such as dura-coat.

Thanks,
Tim

This is the first time I heard the aluminium version being slippery. I have the HA version and I do have sweaty hands but I found that the HA is not slippery compared to the bare Ti...

I put a lanyard to aid in grip as well.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this thread, was gone for a few days.

I do use a lanyard if I'm walking around, works quite well. Was just looking for some ideas for when I don't have the lanyard on it.

I'll have to get some o-rings and give that a try. One or two right up tight to the tail should keep it from sliding through my grip, and maybe (if I'm lucky!) still fit in the holster I made.

Thanks,
Tim
