Smallest diameter 18650?

I just got the zebra h60 and the tenergy 18650 is not even close to fitting in the tube. Is there a smaller diameter 18650 or do I return the h60?

Yes I have read that his batteries are good. Are you sure they are smaller in diameter before I order them?

I've read that AW 18650 is ~18.2mm OD while the Tenergy can run up to 18.5mm OD. YMMV.

Good luck. I wish I had a selection of sizes, I would mike them all & post it. This would be useful information, IMO, not only for the average diameters but also for the variation.

You could try it without the shrink wrap. That shouldnt be a problem in single cell lights.

:thinking:wouldn't that short the cell?... the positive metal strip that feeds the protection circuit would touch negative.

Hi problemchild,

I have a Huntlight FT-01XSE XR-E. This flashlight has barely enough room for a 18650.

AW 18650 will not fit in, even if I remove the label so only the shrink wrap is left.

In this light I use Trustfire 2500mAh unprotected cells, these slide right in with no modification. DX Item Number: 6979

So if for some strange reason AW cells are too big, you might try these... as long as you accept the risks of unprotected batteries.

I think unfortunately no matter what brand you buy they will vary from battery to battery, some times they are oval instead of round.
As EngrPaul said go with Trustfire 2500mAh unprotected cells, these slide right in with no modification. DX Item Number: 6979.
And be careful with checking voltage before and after charging.
