...when I went with a couple of buddies to spectate at Rally New York.
The day began with tarmac stages in nice bright daylight.
But by the time the afternoon and evening gravel stages came to an end, it was well after dark.
We had a rather long walk back to the car along a narrow, twisty, rutted quad trail. Of course, the PD-S lit the way beautifully. With the Mizer setting on high there was no worry about runtime and both of the people I was with were shocked at how bright it was. These are people, by the way who have seen the light in action to a degree, but never in total darkness.
Kudos again Don, for building such a perfect light!
