A while back I purchased a L1200 from Lighthound for $75. I was so impressed with its output that I just picked up a second one. These are not "Pocket Rockets" for sure as they have a head dia.of 2 3/4" and a length of 12". I use three AW IMR 18650 cells. Haven't done any runtime tests but I would guess maybe 45 minutes.
I also own a Surefire M4 and a M6. The LM1200 blows them both away in output and throw even with the Surefire HOLA and fresh primary batteries. The L1200 uses a bulb that looks like a WA1185 but is potted in a brass threaded module. Extra bulbs are $20 and lens is $5 from lighthound. Both less $ than Surefire stuff.
The Solarforce has a HAIII black finish and a momentory & forward clicky switch. I replaced mine with a Solarforce switch that is similar but w/o the star shaped protrusions. These may be for anti-roll but I didn't like the sharp feel of the points. Lighthound sells the switch for $9
I own lots of lights both LED & INCAN. The L1200 has more light output and range than any I have execpt the FM1909 using 3 X 26500 IMR cells. Nothing else is close. Especially when you consider the low $75 price to me this light is a Steal. The reflector is MOP and the overall quality and fit appears excellent. The batterys fit not too tight and not too loose. The switch works well and is silent in operation.
The L1200 is a Monster Light that will outpower and outthrow most anything under $300 that I have seen. I have read some old posts and comments of poor quality - short bulb life - paper or cardboard used to sleeve the battery tube - etc. Solarforce must have done their homework as I have encountered none of these on my two units . Certainly worth taking a look at if the size is not a problem for you. Not an EDC light!

Around 3 amp. Both of my tailcaps appear to handle fine on momentary and click on. Spring still looks as new.

I am running three AW IMR 18650 cells. Yes the output is far greater than the Lumens Factory 1000 lumen bulb and the Surefire M6 HOLA module. It has an amazing output of light not even considering the huge price difference between $75 and a Surefire M6.

yes it is an awesome light, i was always saying that, after i bought one for my friends b-day, i almost kept it.
