I was building this light for "Reptiles" when i made the misteak of
flush-mounting the clip into the body instead of making it sit atop...
So i thought that i would keep the light being that i don't
have a production version of my own.. So i decided to put some
pearlie swirlies on the top cover... Then i said, Well, Lets see if
somebody wants it instead... I then proceeded to remove the
swirlies from the top cover by wetsanding them to brink it back to
a Satin finish. But that didn't work out to well
But the effect
that remained was quite cool! What was left over were little random
sized circles
See in the pics below.. The "Blemish" as i call it is
actually because of the flush mounted clip channels. I ended up milling
too much titanium and broke through to the inside cavity of the light
But all is well, And the captive nut i put on the back of it, Potted in
epoxy, Seals the light up nicely.. It just looks all goofy with a chunk
of Ti missing. You will only see it if ya take the clip off to use the
Camera Mount.. Pics are below for the world to see. So to make this light
more enticing to a passerby, I installed 4 Tritiums in the body.
I Am selling this light because it does Not meet my usual standards
of perfection as i call it. Therefore, "Reptiles" light will be builtup
from scratch, Again... Hehe
