Mc Gizmo Aleph 19, with Led Zep ASPHERIC LENS and CREE P4 LED :twothumbs

This light consists of an Aleph 19 head, Aleph 'flared' 2 x 123 body with Ti pocket clip and McTC tailcap with a fitted McClicky switch, all in HA NAT.

BUT Inside the head is a Led Zep custom aluminium mount containing an aspheric lens providing massive throw!

This light runs a SOB 917 mA converter and CREE P4 LED.

It will run on anything you can get in the tube! 2 x CR123, 2 x R123, 1 x 17670


This light is in unmarked condition.

One and only reduction and now includes 19mm McGizmo reflector so you can have a choice of aspheric or reflector style beam. :thumbsup:

Sorry for the dumb question, but does this light have only one output, or multiple?

Not dumb at all

One output as it stands but any aleph light engine will fit so you could mod it for multi output very easily.

Having said that the whole point of this light is throw so you really want the led flat out.

I'm tired of looking at this.

I'll take it. Give me until tonight to do the Paypal. I'm swamped all day at work today and will get to this when I get home.

Question: I would think that better throw would be obtained from a Q5, not so much because of any increase in brightness, but because the Q5 outputs a more focused beam. If this is correct, then if I replace the P4 with a Q5 and find that the focus has shifted, is there any way to raise or lower the lens, or must this be done at the emitter level?

But this may all be irrelevant because if I am pleased with the throw I likely would not bother with any changes.

I'm tired of looking at this.

HA - I was looking at it every 3 hours or so as well!

London Lad had (had) GREAT lights - this was one of the lower cost - but also more interesting ones to me. Unemployment sucks!

I've had the light for a few days. Its quite nice. As advertised. An effective thrower in a slender, compact package.
