Primary lithium or eneloop.
Use alkaline with caution, I fixed many lights that were ruined by leaking alkaline.

Aw man, Nichia 219 is the emitter I wished I could've gotten in the V2's I bought. Now I have three of the things (I like having spares for EDCs), and there's no way I can justify buying even more. AND you offered it in Damascus this time too. *sigh*

You could always sell an XP-G2 version to buy a Nichia version. I'm trying to get rid of a few lights or a knife to get one.

The tritium vials on the Ottavino lights are completely submerged and set. It shouldn't be any different for the V3s.

Jonwkng is correct. The trit is sealed with Noland 61.
