Mag4D cut down and re-threaded to fit 3x AW C-cells
- head finned/grooved
- body finned
- custom pvc tube to hold (and prevent rattling of) AW C-cells
- custom spring in tailcap (to prevent scraping the bottom of the rechargeable li-ion cell)
- custom MagRing2 (designed by CPF member, download)
KIU's stainless steel VX-style bezel
FM dual-function (cammed/camless) MOP aluminum reflector
Mineral glass lens (to withstand the extreme heat)


you'll need to provide the following for a fully-functional super Mag85:
- bi-pin socket (for the bi-pin bulbs, unless you can manage to find potted bulbs)
- WA1185 bulbs
- AW rechargeable Li-Ion C-cells
- charger to charge the above mentioned cells

why do i call it a super Mag85?
simply because of the extended runtime with the high-capacity cells (~3.3Ah) VS. using 9AA cells (rated @2Ah)
