I am having a hard time posting this light, for obvious reasons, but I know it will always be a shelf queen and I need funds for tires at the moment.

For sale is a beautiful McGizmo McLux III Titanium PD purchased from Run4jc back in June from this thread: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=278060.

The light has since been beautifully modded with a Seoul P4 High CRI LED - just my personal preference over a cooler LED. The buyer of this light could easily have it modded to whatever available XR-E, XP-G or P4 LED they want, I am sure.

If this light is still available when I get home tonight I will post pictures, otherwise please see run4jc's in the link - as it is the same light in excellent condition.

The light will be $700 (same as I payed) and that price will include PP fees, Priority Shipping, and Delivery Confirmation #. It is highly unlikely the price will come down.

International shipping will be extra and tracking # or not at your discretion. I will not be responsible for the light once shipped.

As always, first posted "I'll take it." wins.

Please feel free to PM me any questions and thank you for your interest.

Light is SOLD to Lisa

I know run4jc had some regrets about selling that light; I wonder if he'll jump in and buy it back? Wouldn't that be convenient. :)

Yes he did. It was actually withdrawn and we had PM'ed offline about it and he agreed to part ways with it.

It's really a very simple yet beautiful light.

"For your consideration, the McGizmo McLux III Titanium PD - modified by datiLED with a beautiful tint Cree XPG R5" Quoted from Run4jc.

Re: WTS: McGizmo McLux III Titanium PD

No problem :)

The XP-G was a nice LED, just not right for me. I'm a warm LED guy (I actually generally prefer incan), but I digress.....

The P4 High CRI is a slightly dimmer LED than the XP-G, but the color rendition is so much more accurate. And, the light comes apart so easily it can be modded without to much trouble to whatever your liking.

Re: WTS: McGizmo McLux III Titanium PD

Yeah, I was thinking the tint might not matter since it has a Hi-CRI emitter in it now. Normal warm emitters make plants look dead and wilted to my eyes, but as long as the green component is properly represented, it should look good no matter what the tint is.

I have some Hi-CRI emitters coming my way in the near future, so I'm looking forward to experimenting with them when they arrive. One of them might even end up in my PD-S. :D

Lisa,

You shwooped (sp?) in just as I was started to have sellers remorse playing with the light in my hand......

great buyer and great seller

a++ :)

I was asleep at the wheel! didn't even see this one...not to worry, 2 LS20s arrived today - but I did love that PD XPG!

Great grab, Lisa!

Thanks Dan, but she's not an XPG any longer, it's a SSC P4 Hi CRI emitter. Not sure which is better, as they're both great but just wanted to clarify.

I read that in the posts...:faint: - but that's cool! As long as the current owner is happy with it. I absolutely LOVED that XPG, but that's Dan! I know Lisa will be happy with the light. Such a solid light...but today I began 'ooing and ahhing' over my 2 "New" LS20s!

Such a hobby, such a hobby! :grin2:
