There is a T20 which looks on the spec to be similar as a P3D cree. This interestes me, but i saw something somewhere although i forget where, about "enhanced throw" but i dont remember where the hell i read it. Does this have good throw? any review's or anything? Im also wondering if the memory of the modes wastes battery over a long time.
Thanks

The throw on the T20 is excellent. The light is very similar to a P3D-CE in form and function but has a larger bezel/reflector. The reflector is OP at the bottom near the emitter and smooth at the top which gives a superior beam quality.

I have no idea if the memory mode uses battery life.

I've just sent the sample we received in advance of our order to ernsanada so you can expect a review and lots of great pics in the next week or two. I expect this light will be quite popular - it will sell for under $50, is quite compact, very bright and has an good UI.

My main concern, was i already have a P3D and am planning on buying the Rebel 100 version also. So i think this may not give me anything new.

it's now available for $49 shipped with EMS ( you know where to find it )
my question is can this light take 2x4.2v rcr123?
in the manufacturer website it stated that this light can take 2x4.2v.
but in the vendor website only stated 2xcr123

well im not sure about this T20, perhaps i will see what the next light they come out with will be like. This one seems way too much like a P3D CE clonw with some alterations. Im already going to have a cree and rebel 100 P3D i dont need something similar to those at this time.

The T20 works fine with 2 x RCR123A - I've trid 3 different protected cells (Tenergy 750 and 900mah 3V and Ultrafire 880mah 3.6V) so '4.2'V should be just fine.

but i'm a bit dissappointed (not whole heartedly)with the output,it less brighter the my fenix p3d,the fenix is brighter but this flashlight body is better feeling than fenix.
This type of reflector is the same with Nuwai 5watt ALX352-L ( http://www.flashlightreviews.com/reviews/nuwai_alx-352_alx-032.htm )
which i also have.
and also inside the reflector has got some residue marks around on it.
maybe it's from the dry up glue that vaporised while locktite it.
Pls refer to the photos but it doesn't effect the beam though.
The beamshots from left to right:-
DX cree rcr3.0v/JB CLE sanyo nimh 2700mah/
Hyperion rcr123 3.6v/JB MKIIx 14500/T20 2xrcr123 3.6v each.
Distance - 5 feet.
bottomline feelings is i'm quite satisfied with this light especially the body.
maybe if there is any version 2 of this light the manufacturer should look
for other type of reflector.
Thank you.

If you're gonna say the P2d CE is brighter ya have to post that beamshot!. P

FWIW - to my eyes the output is identical.

nanotech17, is clear to see that the olight on the end has a more compact beam, which i think will give it more distance.

I tried to see what the beams were like using photoshop:

I have no idea i this link will work, but if it does, you can see the T20 has a more tight beam than the others

techwg, yes you are right if compare to P3D the T20 beam is more compact .
But from my previous experience with other torch which is the Nuwai Lux V ALX352-L this type of reflector is not really bright in terms of intensity compare to 100% smooth reflector ( this is just pure from my opinion without any intention to derail T20 current & future market prospect)
It is more like a 50% flood & 50% throw - some people might like & some people might don't like it.But it is good to have a variety of beam pattern in the market.
Nevertheless the T20 body is really good feeling in your hand - not too bulky & not too small (at least for a medium palm size like me)
You might want to try it,i bet you won't be disappointed after all.
I beginning to like more of it (right now it sits on my belt with that lovely holster that came with it)
Thanks for the diagnosis of the T20 -
