"SpiderFire" Cree headlamps on EBay?

Anyone have any experience or opinions on the "SpiderFire" Cree headlamps that have popped up on EBay?

According to the description, this is a 3-mode light (Hi, Mid, Lo), 3xAAA batteries, an unusually deep reflector for long throw, price is $25 USD and free shipping. Other listings claim that the LED is a Cree Q5, putting out 220 lumens.


Any thoughts or comments on this?

Don't know the headlamp but feel that claims of a 3XAAA headlamp putting out 220 lumens sounds fishy.

Personally, I'd not trust that headlamp for anything more serious than reading in bed.
