Spotlight LED In-Car Torch....

It is good for the masses. I wish there was a better automotive option that was "stock". THink about it.. with all that "juice" flowing there could be a 40-100 lumen solution that would not even affect the price of the auto much at all.

All food for thought :D

Looks like a great idea... however, the Nichia LED is probably not very bright. Also, it has a rating of 1000 charges with no indication of a user replaceable battery. If a charge is considered the stopping and restarting of charging power to the battery with more than a 60 minute gap, you're looking at a lifetime of less than a year if you leave it plugged in most of the time (the default). That's a lousy deal to me.

Re: Spotlight LED In-Car Torch.

Consider it's fifteen bucks I'd say it's pretty decent. Of course the down side is shipping will be more expensive than the light.

Re: Spotlight LED In-Car Torch.

I have further details from Matt on this product. This is the official website...

www.12vspotlight.com

There are 3 NiMH cells at 80mAh, giving a 100% brightness to 25% brightness runtime of about two hours. It looks very reasonable indeed. I will let you all know more when I receive a review sample.

Just got one. Red LED lights when charging and when it's twisted, lights up very nicely. Quite impressive brightness. I like it so far.

12V Spotlight

I got 3 units at the SEMA show in Indy... just in time for my V-day and Easter shopping. I was really surprised at it's heft - needless to say super bright. Gotta get your hands on one.

Re: 12V Spotlight

So 8track, you like them then? I'll have to check one out if I get the chance...

Someon needs to learn paypal

and not that retarded Google check out crap.

:shakehead

First thought was "ooh neat, I want one".
Second thought was "but I don't need one".
Third thought was "but it'd make a sweet gift for a non flashaholic.

Whats one of the biggest problems a non flashaholic has? Even though you gave them a decent light, they can't find it when they need it. With this light you've solved that problem. I may need to buy half a dozen and call my christmas shopping done.

Just bought one from superbrights for my new truck. The jet black is going to look really nice in my F150 in place of the lighter. Nice product!
