The side with the notch in the short lead is negative.

Thanks for posting this info.
I just installed a P4 U2 in a SolarForce p60 drop-in for my l2 using a boost/buck driver from KD that seems to be not longer available.
bright Creamy warmth is what comes out of this l2 now.

(ps, sorry for rewaking an old thread, but this was the first hit in google an exactly what i needed to know. my brain seems to muddle A[node] and K[athode])
