I just received one of my Stoplight kits from CNC Dan. The machine work is excellent on the head and cell extenders. I'm not a big fan of the Kroll switch exposed on the tail. I machined about half the threads off a Garrity aluminum clickie switch... and used the O ring that came with the original light. The tailswitch now fully seats on Dans battery tube and works perfectly. The look is much cleaner than just a Kroll switch. For those of you that purchased one of Dans stoplights... thought you might like a picture. web page

Jets22,
Thank you for the pic, it really looks good on the Stoplights. Is the Garrity switch off a 2AA light, can you tell me the model number? Thanks, I dream of a Madmax R2H in a single cell...

BentHeadTX:The Garrity I used for the clickie was the aluminium 2AA (wal-Mart) I do not have the exact model number though.. sorry..

That switch is from the "Ozark Trail" Walmart that's made by Garrity. I never modded mine because of the press in lens..

I'm going for a Stoplight too, so thanks for the suggestion & photo.

Glad you like it..the switch works great on the Stoplight..I agree with you on the use of the Garrit as a platform for modding. The press fit lens design is... not good.

I'm actually using MadMax+ and R2K..I'm waiting on 30mm optics right now.
