FYI,

One of my adjuct guys came up to me on Friday with a SureFire M4/M3 combo....

He took the smaller diameter "A" head from his standard SF M3 CombatLight along with the high-power 225 lumen MN11 lamp assembly and attached it to his 4-battery M4 body.

He liked the high-output, longer run time, and the longer body without the larger diameter head. When wearing body armor it was easier to get to and manuver with....

I asked him if he had blown any lamps...nope.

Hmm. Interesting combo. I meant to try it tonight but I could not bring myself to turn the light on for fear of the bulb exploding. Try explaining that one to SFCS.

Ken, did you see it work with your own eyes?

I must try this. It's like self preservation, my muscles just won't listen to my brain to press the button.

Ok, it worked. Yay. This looks different, I feel like I just got a brand new SF Model without paying anything! The voltage drop must be significant not to blow the bulb.

Suefire M6:

How about trying the M3 bezel on the M6 with a MN- 20 lamp, then the MN21.

Makes a compact version of the M6.

Let me know if it works without smoking the bezel assembly and maybe I will try it.
