Hang in there. Without your deals I wouldn't have some of my favorite lights, and I think there are many more here that feel they same way. QC issues can hit ANY product, no matter how expensive ... my point is that you are never going to please all the people all the time, and Quality Control is NEVER perfect - an old adage in the QC profession is: Even 100% inspection (every part) is only 80% effective. Even World-Class, 6-Sigma certified companies have SOME defects leaking out. (albeit very few...) Inspectors, machinists, assemblers, and operators get tired and miss things. You offered to take care of the problem, that's all you can do. Remember that probably 98% of Barbolight customers ARE satisfied.

+1

Well said.

You made me a very happy Barbolight customer. I have taken mine to work everyday since i got it and on every dog walk, even on several fridge raids. I love this thing so much, thank you !!

This thing has happened very few times. The movement of the piston switch is 1 mm, so enough to regulate the pressure you have to apply to switch it on. In your case probably there has been an excess of the compound we use to fix the screw which assembles piston and contact board, so somehow it is glued. No problem at all, just use a hammer very softlly, with a piece of cloth over ir to avoid marks, and really gently hit it to release the glue.

Please, keep me informed.

Javier

Not much luck with the end cap but will try again tomorrow

Today dived to 40M quite dark and did a comparison test between a Kowalski 1250 My 21W Metalsub HID and the t-15

Kowalski was just not in the race and retired early bema was diffused and halogen light is just too yellow

The Metalsub was as bright if not just a shade brighter than the T-15 however the beam was not as tight and it causes back scatter from the matter in the water . The battery of the metalsub weighs in at 2.5Kilo so that is another deciding factor

The winner was the T-15 very impressive both on distance and in the detail in an enclosed area I love the tight beam and cant wait to use it inside a wreck

I now have a Metalsub for sale as I need to get saving for the X-35 LOLOL really think the t-15 is great and it has proved to me that the days of the LED replacing HID

Next week we are diving the Salsette off Weymouth If I can find my camera I will take some piictures of it in use

Thanks Javier
