I just noticed a new (to me) and exciting product from Surefire. They are selling a three pack of 1" compatible polymer/neoprene combat grips! The page states they will fit any 1" tailcap...

My Kroma is returning to me, from surgery (a great P4 Seoul replacement... I'll post some pics, beamshots, etc. when it arrives home next week :) ) and 18 months ago I installed an M2 rubber combat grip on it to provide some grip options when shooting and hiking.

I say "grab 'em while they're in stock!" Thanks Surefire!

I actually purchased these right when they came out from battery junction. I too put it on my kroma and I find it works well but it tends to slip off after a few minutes of usage. I notice its very tight on the d3 I have but fits just right on the 6pled I have. Have fun with them, I'm sure they will keep you occupied for many hours. Its like getting a new flashlight for ever flashlight from surefire that they will fit on. You start putting them on all the surefires you have and you find your self with "new lights"

It's just a grip to help you hold it in a more "tactical" way. You can find grips on these on some of Surefire's lights like their Z2.

Take a look at the pictures at the link provided (above). There is a picture of a 6P with one of the grips installed.

The grips provide options when using your 1" flashlight while firing a handgun. I also find they often provide more grip options when hiking, especially in wet/cold conditions.

Also check out the LeefGrips - I highly recommend them.
