Surefire C3 vs Pelican M3

Im looking to buy a Surefire C3 or Pelican M3 just wanting to see what ya'll would reccomend. Im in the military and need a light that can take some abuse, and is bright as all hell, I'm thinking of the pelican m3 cause its alot cheaper and seems like the better deal. OR should I go to led's?

I have both a C3 in HAIII and an incan Pelican M6 (2-battery version of the M3). Hands down the Surefire is a better quality light. Even Surefire's standard black anodizing (like on a 6P or 9P) is much better than the finish on the Peli, which seems more like powder coating than anodizing. Other details make the C3 stand out - better threads on the tailcap and head, better switch, etc.

Don't get me wrong - I like my Pelis and they represent a good value. If however you are looking for a light that you can depend on with your very life, get the C3.
