Surefire KX1B head E1L runtime?

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has a runtime chart of the new E1L outdoorsman with the KX1B head yet?

Shouldn't it be the same as the E2L 2AA version?

in the E1L its running off a single CR123

E2L 2AA uses the KX1B. 2AA is around 3volts. Probably got a little more juice compared to a single CR123.

But 2xAA will have much higher capacity, so runtime will be shorter

I don't have a runtime chart, and not sure that one has been done, but here's info I posted in another thread:

Yup. You mean runtime on AA is longer?
It should be a touch longer than the Cr123. Proportionally to the mah.

Based on Cland's observations. It should get just under 4 hours on high and 40 hrs on low on 1 primary.

Interesting the went with the E2L-AA head. I wonder how it handles an RCR123.

A friend ran his Kx1b with a Rcr123 without any problems. It certainly didn't go poof. Long term effects I would not know.
