Surefire L1/L2/A2 tailcap - how to open?

Does anyone know how to disassemble the Surefire L1/L2/A2 tailcap? I'd like to have a lower low via extra resistance, but can't seem to get it apart. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :tinfoil:

EDIT: I've taken the assembly out of the tailcap, but can't figure out how to separate the pcb board from the rest of the switch.

From what I've been reading, you need to break it and repair it. I've fooled around with mine for a while and didn't see any trick to it, I think that's how it has to be done.

I'm not positive, but I haven't seen anything that says otherwise. :shrug:

I'm not willing to go that far for a different low. =\

From what I've been reading, you need to break it and repair it.

You must be joking? I'm sure there is a method to take out the internals without breaking parts.

Unscrew the ring around the button. Pull off the rubber cover. Pry/pull the end off the switch. Pull the switch out from the inside.A screw driver works well. Or pliers. Put back together reverce order. Not hard at all.

Thanks Wrencher! I got the assembly out of the tailcap. However, now I'm stuck on accesssing the pcb. Is anyone familiar with taking apart the internals of an L1/L2/A2 switch?
