Anyone else get a ad from SureFire in their email?

And I thought consumers weren't a big part of their customer base.

Lol, speaking which, I just got an e-mail from SF notifing me of the 6P sale. I signed up for it, and enjoy the occasional message.

shrap,
If you do not wish to continue receiving emails from SureFire then you can use the SafeUnsubscribe™ link included in the email they sent you.

SureFire e-mail is NOT Spam

I got mine. I asked to be updated. This is the first time I've gotten an e-mail. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Re: SureFire e-mail is NOT Spam

Re: SureFire e-mail is NOT Spam

I got one of these too. Guess its a real Surefire email then.

Re: SureFire e-mail is NOT Spam

Can't really be Spam mail if you knowingly signed up for it, right?

I got one too, and technically it was SPAM for me.

The only way they got my e-mail address was from a recent CS exchange that didn't go well.

I have a bit of a hard time being mad when it is actually good SPAM for a change. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

Re: SureFire e-mail is NOT Spam

Just because I bought something from them, doesn't mean that I automatically want to hear about every sale they have. I don't remember signing up for their list.

And yes, I already have unsubscribed.

LEDmodMan, that sounds very strange. I would be pissed off, regardless of what company you were dealing with.

If lots of people bought something - you can expect a lot more email.

Re: SureFire e-mail is NOT Spam

Ah !

It looks like there's also fault to be blamed on SureFire as well -- my apologies.

So basically, any time you also "volunteered" your e-mail (i.e. required for C/S or purchases), they automatically put you on the hit-list, too ?

Now that's not Kosher.
