Surefire U2 not very popular?

I know the boring of my U2 was done right. Thanks for the confirmation anyway.:thumbsup: I was just trying to help xcel730. See quote below.

Yeah I haven't had such luck with the older battery tube. From what I read, the new tubes cannot be bored to fit the 18650. Oh well, I guess I have to settle for 17670 until I find a older body. I wouldn't mind owning another and mod it with the MC-E. Time to scour for some.

the Low worked on mine, it was before i had my lightbox to measure with so i used my luxmeter by itself. Lux at 12" was 320 VS the stock 244. Pretty close.

I had levels 1,2 4 and 6.

level 6 was 41900 lux VS 19130 stock @ 12". :)
