SureFire USMC?

hey everyone,

I've seen some "rare" SureFire USMC edition lights on some sites, and turns out they are in fact pretty rare.
I can't really find any decent info on it, but it seems like there was a G2X USMC and a P6X-D USMC edition.

Does anyone have any more info on these lights? How/when were they produced, how could you get one, which models had USMC variants, and what was different about them ( other than the engraving )?

I think there was an E2D Defender as well (incan) USMC edition. And an E2DL (led) USMC if memory serves correct.

I don't know much about them, but there was also a G2Z-TN version in which the only difference, I believe, was the USMC logo on the bezel, which would imply an aluminum bezel. I can't remember if it was an "open bezel" that came with an 80-lumen P60L, or if it was the 1st-generation sealed bezel with a stated output of 120 lumens. Don't know the manufacturing dates, either. Hopefully someone else can provide more history.
