Was at a knife show over the weekend and Surefire happened to be in attendance. Some photos:

Ooh, do tell us about that AZ2... Was it a functional prototype, and if so, how did it compare (high, low, beam profile, etc.) to the A2L?

AZ2 was functional. The LX2 is still a little brighter than than the AZ2, however the low on the AZ2 is a wider floody type beam.

Thank you for these great photographs. :goodjob:

Just curious . . . .

Did SureFire arrive at the show " On Time " ?

Or did they arrive " Late " ?

Really like their new Saint Minimus headlamp.

Awaiting CPF reviews.

And out of curiosity, I don't suppose you were able to tell how throwy the AZ2 was on high? I'm sure it wouldn't throw as well as the LX2, but might it at least come noticeably closer than the A2L?

This is a question I've been pondering over too much.

SureFire rated the E2DL at 120. However, it was tested at closer to 200.

SureFire rated the AZ2 at 120. From what you could tell, is this an underrated number?

If it appears to be slightly dimmer than the LX2, then it might be closer to the E2DL, which is also slightly dimmer than the LX2.

Im more interested in that tan M952V!!!! That looks sexy!!!

That's the Vampire on a weapon mount

The SF guys were early although I arrived a day later into the show.

The AZ2 throws w/ a bit of a flood but the king would still be the LX2.

Gotta' love how they've mounted the weapon lights on plastic training weapons (you couldn't have people running around with real firearms at such a convention)... nice effort in presentation SF!

Did nobody notice the Shotgun forend had what appears to be an LX2 mounted on it?

There was also a blue gun M4 carbine with a silencer, rail system and a mini Scoutlight mounted to it. Someone else at the convention had a real M4 with a SF Scoutlight mounted on it but it was a different booth.

I saw that when I first picked it up. The SF Rep mentioned its the new LED forend. Pretty much a LX2 mounted on the front.
Thanks for photos:party:
Your welcome. Hoped you guys enjoyed.

Thats awesome! If they come out with one of those I'd be willing to pick one up.
