Has anyone used the new 150 lumen Inova T3 for a handlebar headlight? I've got the Fenix site's swivel clamp and am still looking for an excuse to get the new 2008 T3.

I've wanted that light since 2004, but couldn't justify it. I understand a pair of 17500's can be used, so that helps, besides the brighter LED. May I assume 3 RCR132 cells would be too much voltage? Is 150 lumens from that light usable for a bike light?

Thanks for any thoughts.

Why not twin T2s? (besides $)

Also didn't people say the T2 has better throw? (granted it is a smaller hot spot) 4 batteries vs 3 for 250 lm vs 150. and you can run 1 light for battery savings (low/high beam setup)

can you justify a 270 lumen Q5 light with charger and batteries for $40?
