I checked the Wiki and did a search but I can't find a definition for GITD. Also, what is a reverse clicky? Is there a "Dummies guide to flashlights" lurking about?? :D

:welcome:

GITD: glow in the dark, also "GID"
reverse clicky: the type that turns the light after you fully depress the button; the light turns on as you release the pressure from the switch (forward clickies turn the light on as you press the button the first time, not as you let go of it).

There's a "welcome mat" thread somewhere, but I'm not sure what's contained in there or where's stickied.

Reverse clicky: No light is produced until you hear/feel a click and then release switch pressure
Forward clicky: Light is produced when the switch is depressed partly, and light stays on after a click is heard/felt
