Taking an DX Aurora Kk-p7 apart?? anyone?

Ok so, I want to take this thing apart to increase the wire size for a potential brighter light and to see how to chop it up for a helmet/remote battery setup. I can see threads inside the "cup" and It appears that it would unscrew from the battery housing. A 22mm wrench can hold the battery housing section and i've tried wrapping the cup with rubber and using channel locks and vise grips to unscrew it with no success. Any suggestions?

The body and head section might be one piece.

Take the right size pliers and place the tips in to opposite holes on the "cup" and unscrewing. We usually call the light engine and part of the heatsink together a pill.

It could also be friction fit.

Ok thanks. Looking from the light end there are threads inside the pill area. That's why I assumed that it could be taken apart.

There are actually 5 separate sections:
1- Reflector retaining bezel ring
2- Bezel
3- Center section (Between bezel and body)
4- Body
5- Tailcap

The pill assembly screws into the center section of the flashlight.
I doubt changing the wires will make it any brighter.

How on earth did u get the pieces to separate? is there loctite or glue?
I put some pretty serious twist on it with no luck.

There was also a lack of thermal compound behind the emitter.... as in no residue on the copper or brass heat sink behind the emitter. So i added some !

The first light I bought was not glued at all. Every section was barely hand tight, and unfortunately I messed up my original emitter because I ended up turning the bezel to the point the reflector applied pressure to the emitter and blew out. Luckily I was able to replace it and it works perfectly again.
I bought a second light and it is glued tight.
