tesco torches

Hi,

I managed to get hold of 2 tesco cree AA torches, I have read that a lot of you are using them as head lights, how are you attaching them to your helmets and have you removed the battery's and made a remote pack or have you left them in situ.

Thinking of doing the same kind of thing ..........A remote battery pack would allow for a inline switch and long run times... Any thoughts

People I've seen are using either DX mounts (look in the guns section) or Zefal Doodads (these are imho, about 10x better, much lower profile) which you can get at most onlike bike stores, or decathlon if theres one near you.

I also use the DX mount that is found in the guns section for mounting lights to my lid and it works well I find.

I have one of tesco 2xAA lights but it was a gift for someone that I never got around to giving to them at Christmas...
