The Lumintop Tool 2.0 with 14500’s…WOW!

I just got the Lumintop Tool 2.0. It worked ok with Energizer Lithium 1.5 batteries, but my 14500 batteries arrived today and….WOW….what a BIG difference in overall brightness! My only problem is…the actual LED emitter isn't very good. A purplish spill with more of a greenish spot. What are some similar size AA/14500 lights that have more consistent LED emitters?
