Do anyone know if this Bulb will flash with 9.6 volts? ( 8XAA Eneloops ) That is only 0.6V more than they get from the 6D cells in a 6D Mag.
I've heard they are very sensitive to being overvolted.
I believe it might just be a good alternative to what I'm using now in my Energizer Dolphin: 6XAA with a HPR71. Reason I want to change is the Magstar bulb is freely available, the HPR71 not so. The ROP bulb might melt my Dolphin, so its not an option:naughty:
