any one here go threw any black outs in the last 2 weeks first the ice now the heavy snow? here in wichita the ice hit us light and the snow yesterday was a white out ..but no power losses ..I was ready!

Brief power losses, mostly at night as evidenced by my flashing alarm clock. For the most part, however, power has stayed on. Doesn't mean that I'm not ready to light up the neighborhood, though!

The high winds took ours out for about 5 hours today. Happened around 4AM. Nothing major here for us, but I'm ready if it does happen for an extended period this winter.
