I'm trying to find a driver that will power a Cree or SSC that will be fed by a common CR123a. It needs to be less than 17.3mm wide and well under 6mm thick including wiring/HS'ing/sealing to the emitter. Preferably running at ~800ma, preferably capable of ALSO handling 2 cells.
Some DX converters are around that size but don't meet all the criteria. Maybe the micropuck from LED Supply? FluPic is too expensive.

Edited to add: I no longer need more suggestions. Thank you for your time :)

Flupics may seem expensive by comparison to some other drivers but they are true quality.

Good luck in your search though.:)

Colin.

There were 0.55" FluPICs with paperthin 0.6mm boards...
Awesome !!

I just missed goldserve's clearance sale. If I could have gotten something that perfect for $15 I'd have been all over it. Unfortunately I can't. Does any have a stock of his FluPICs? For a decent cost?
