Thrunite Catapult MOD ?'s (V1)

Hey all, new to this stuff so bare with me! I bought a thrunite catapult last year (version 1) and love it.

I was curious about trying to get an aspheric lens for more throw for this light. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this. What measurements would I need to take, where to buy, ect?

I am no expert but from what I read that wouldn't be a good idea on that light unless you plan on changing the emitter?
Most aspheric lights have an R2 or similar emitter. Sst-50 is large die so its hard to get it to focus proper. Again I could be wrong and I'm no expert!!
Try looking at a Deerelight DBS with aspheric head. Probably cheaper and easier than building one..
I have the version 2 catapult and love it the way it is.. great throw..
If you do mod yours post it so we can see how it turns out..
