Can anyone confirm the existence of this 'stock' L1? or this might be an L4 bezel modded fitted to an L1. There is that 'Hot' warning that's standard on the KL4.

My new L1 also has the 'Hot' warning on the bezel, but it looks more like the new KL1 bezel.

I don't recall having seen an L1 with a bezel the same as the L2 (reflector). Does it have a Luxeon V or Luxeon III ?

But see this page ,it seems L1 has a bezel the same as L2.(If the proportin of those photo`s Length are the same.)

Note that the "L1 Digital Lumamax" inscription is straight up, NOT ITALICIZED. The inscription of my "first generation" L1s ARE ITALICIZED.

I'm beginning to be convinced that the unit on the image is a prototype, which took a L2 head and have it posed for photo session.

Even AL says that he knows nothing about it; we'll take his word.
