From among the PAR36 spotlights, or bi-pin hotwires with custom heads like the FM Throwmaster or 4" Colossus, what are, or is, the tightest, pencil-beamed super-thrower incan? I have a long throwing, incredibly tight, lower wattage setup, but I would like specific recommendations for a medium-high to high power incan rig with a rifle like beam and little spill. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Not an incan, so not what you're asking about, but for me, "tightest, pencil-beamed, super-thrower" is not a flashlight, but a laser pointer.

Flashfan-
I'm sure lasers could be fun, but not what I'm looking for.

Andreas-
I'm ordering some philips 5761 since I have a setup perfect for them, but in other threads than the one you suggested I've read that the 5761 is a pretty wide beam heavy on the spill, and kind of ugly too unless cleaned up by etching or orangepeel. I guess I'll see for myself what it does in a Throwmaster.

That seems to be the case with most of the higher power hotwires I've read about, they have much spill even though they throw far due to sheer output. Perhaps the heavier, bigger filaments required unaviodably result in lots of spill - which for most people is what they want. I was wondering if there was a bulb/reflector combination that really overcame this. Or recently, I have been reading Ictorana's thread about the PAR 36 sealed beams. It seams a few of those might be what I'm looking for, and maybe I'll start playing with those. But that left me wondering, if there are high powered, tight beamed PAR36, why can't the same be achieved in a bi-pin hotwire with the right reflector?

There are not many left, but the FM Throwmaster heads will give the tightest beam. They have a tighter focus than the 3" heads.

Cheers,

Throwmaster heads are great. I have 2, a Mag D throwmaster and a Magcharger throwmaster. Wonderfully tight on my everyday work lights with Magchatger and ROP lo bulbs. I'm wondering which if any of the high power bulbs are narrow beamed or if they are all heavy on the flood.

tightest i ever tried is, 4515PAR3630W 6V

What voltage are you running that at? What can it take?

The Osram 62138 is a 100 watt bulb that has a much smaller filament than any of the other popular super bulbs. Plus, it's an axial filament. I'm using this bulb with a 2.5" throwmaster reflector. This combination really has some serious throw.
