...Looking at Thomas Distributing shows that the Nexcell EnergyON AA batteries are only $8 for a four pack... Good deal compared to Eneloops. I currently have 68 Eneloop AA's.

I've searched and read everything I could find about EnergyOn, but no clear reviews of their performance compared to the Eneloop. So, Anyone have any real world opinions on the EnergyOn compared to the Eneloops?

Thanks,
Rob

I bought quite a few of them last time I did an order from Thomas Distributing. The ones that I've got are only rated for 2000 mAh whereas they're now selling cells that are rated for 2100 mAh, so my experience with them may not be totally applicable to the ones that you're looking at.

For the current price difference, I'd probably go for the Eneloops if I was you. Although the EnergyOns that I've got work reasonably well, they aren't as durable or as consistent as the Eneloops.
