Re: Time to purge!! ...more price drops MiniHID 2007-01-30

Folks, $240 for a Mini-Mini-HID is a great price on a great light. So here it is: the free bump for a thread I wish I'd seen before I purchased my overdriven 14w mini-mini-HID for $315! I've regretted a few purchases, but the mini-mini isn't one of them.

And this little puppy can THROW!

Good luck with your sale, aosty. =)

How much shorter is the Mini-mini compare to Mini? I thought all Mini-mini uses R123 not 14500?

This light uses 14500 cells and is 162mm (6-3/8") in length.

How much is the shipping of MiniMiniHid to Poland, Europe ?
Does it have standard Maglite reflector ? What is runtime ?

Can you make a 3x17670 body and battery holder ? I like more runtime, please...

Edit: Most important question: what colors are available ? ;) :D

I got the Aurora Hotwire Kit in the mail Thursday morning this thing is hot!
I noticed the bulb can pop out of the holder when focusing in and out. Does any body have a suggestion as to securing the TL-3 bulb in the ceramic holder? I dont want to spread the bi-pins, I'm thinking of putting small bits of wire in each socket of the holder to tighten up on the bi-pins.

Nein - I'm glad it arrived safely... I packed the bits separately to avoid damage. What I did in the past was a) spread/squeeze the pins and b) slide the contacts out of the holder and gently squeeze'em to grip tighter.

Ok thanks I'll squeeze the grips from the holder, sounds safer. And yes breaking down the parts for shipping was appreciated.
Thanks for my new toy, the guys at work will be blown away. No I won't EDC it as its mint.

just to clarify, is anything else required besides the McE2S to make a complete switch?
