titanium end on aluminum raw or wee?

Rob- any chance you would sell just the lanyard end in titanium for the wee or the raw al? I am just trying to use these on my keychain and the raw is pretty much worn through. folks seem to think titanium will handle the abuse of keychains better, but since i already have the lights, i just need relacement ends. possible? prices for the lanyard end?

I believe the problem would be that the threads are different if I'm not mistaken. I think you would need the head as well and throw your pill into it. Probably better to just buy the whole light for the small difference.

I can't imagine why the threads would be different. Rob has these machined at a high end shop, I would think he would spec them the same. anyone out there own a titanium and an aluminum raw or wee?

I believe Rob went to a finer pitch thread with the TI for smoother operation. I am going from memory on this but if you want you could probably search the threads to see.

It was after the original RAW Ti/Al that Rob changed to a finer thread on the RAW Ti (only) for smoother operation. I have an older RAW Ti with the original coarser threads like the other RAWs use. As I see it you can't take a current Ti body part and mate it with any other RAW body part.

:thanks: As others say its not really going to save much money & the Threads on the newer available Raw Ti's are 0.5mm pitch. The Raw NS / Al are 1mm Pitch They are not compatible.
