I've seen a ton of titanium LED lights, but it seems that the thermal properties of titanium aren't ideal for LED applications.

What about Incans? Why hasn't this been done?

I would be totally up for say...

A titanium M6?

Any thoughts you guys?

For myself, I don't really see the point of titanium in flashlights. It will be a little bit more durable than an aluminum version, but then there is the heat thing and also it will be slightly heavier than its aluminum counterpart.

I do like titanium in alot of other things.

The amount of titanium needed for an M6 would make it so dogonne expensive!! Furthermore, I don't personally see the light as a personal jewel to be adorned in such manner. I kinda like my M6 rugged as is.

Granted that the M6 is more of a tool and that it would be prohibitively expensive to make in Titanium...

what about an E2E style light with two RCR123A and the new Lumens Factory HO-E2R bulb... in titanium.

tell me you couldn't resist that idea :p

That would be cool, but for EDC, I carry alot already so every ounce counts. I would not buy one for that reason. One of the reasons I EDC an E2E instead of an A2 is to save weight. I'm sure alot of other people would be interested in one though. There's titanium E-series bodies being made in the Custom area of this site.
