i was looking at a oveready SF 6P 18650 with an eagtac drop in CW 1000 lumens+, or an alpha blue label with 700+ lumens.

something with a big boost of cool white lumens compared to the 250.

looking for best Lux more than anything.
i see the candela of the eagtac is some 4200 candela.
not so sure if that is that bright more or way more compared to the HDS 250CW.

You can go with a Malkoff host, they're already bored to accept 18650s and then get a high out put drop-in from elsewhere. The M60 drop-ins with optics will give better lux although their voltage ratings were different from the M61s so they might not be as optimized for the 18650 li-ions as the latter. SFs with TIR lens give high lux without having to jump up to very high lumen levels but stock lights won't take 18650s, 17670 I understand will fit.
