Hello :)

At first, thanks to my friend Freddy (member Icarus) for providing all the stuff.......

It needs:

1 x Short-cut-C-Mag (thanks to Brian, Mirage man)

3 x McXR19 reflectors (thanks to Don, McGizmo)

3 x Delrin centering rings (MM)

3 x Cree Q5 stars (thanks to Fred, PhotonFanatic)

1 x modified copper heatsink (thanks to Modamag)

1 x Tri-Flupic (thanks to Goldserve)

1 x McClicky C-Mag tailcap and batterie-adaptor(thanks to Modamag)

1 x Mineralglas-lens

some glow-powder, teflon-wire, AA-epoxy and the other stuff.:)

Here a pic:

And here a picture after the "hard work", for size comparison with a Barbolight U-04 (1x 18650 LIR too):

And the business end:

The performance is great, about 600 lumens. The UI is very useful and the throw is great.
Beamshots will follow later (hopefully it will stops raining).

Best regards

:thanks:Skalo

Here are the beamshots.

For pointing out the throw-abilities, my target for the hotspot was in the middle between the caravan (distance 60 meters) and the house in the background (more than 100 meters).

For a better possibility of comparison I added a beamshot of my modified Barbolight U-15, 4xSSC P4 U-bins and modified McR20 reflectors.
It is also an excellent performer with better and brighter sidespill, but less throw.

Enough words, take a look:grin2:.

Very nice cryhavok:twothumbs

Indeed, Brian is an artist ...

I guess, since your power-source is AW's C-sized LIR, you connected the 4xCree's in parallel?

Yes, you are correct. The LEDs are wired parallel. It pulls about 2A from the tailcap, so each LED sees roughly 500mA. Very bright and still gets quite hot quickly.

:thanks:Krit

Nope, it's a Tri-Flupic.

Cool mod man! So Goldserve made a Tri-Flupic driver available too huh? How much current did you say you were pushing into the emitters on high? I wonder when Goldserve will start selling Flupics again?
