Tri-SSC Hi CRI Mag C mod, beamshots

[LED Zeppelin]

I built this light for fellow member PLT who requested a Hi CRI, 2 X CR123 mod in this particular host.

Hardware:
- HA Mag C, shortened for 18650 or 2 X 123
- custom nylon cell sleeve
- FM deep tail bored for sleeve
- (3) Hi CRI SSC P4 (93 CRI, 3000 CCT).
- (3) McR20S
- modified PTS-2-C
- CNC reflector retaining disc, reflectors press-fit
- Sharksink C
- 20K log pot, HA LZ knob w/ trit
- 2.84 mm UCL

Specs:
- Vf of string = 9.6V @ 350mA, 10.8V @ 800mA
- current adjustable from 0-760mA
- mid-pot detent delivers 380mA
- light draws 0.71A @ 6V at mid-pot, 1.55A @ 6V on hi

Looks great LEDZepp. The Al plate mount for the reflectors I like a lot. Gee I like those high CRIs from SSC- they do reds and browns so well!! And slowly their efficiency rises- soon we'll have them as good as the XR-Es I hope. Nice build, well done.
