I bought my wife a Trustfire XP-E F23 at DX when I bought some other lights and it is compleatly dead. She only used it once or twice for about a minute each time and put it away. She went to turn it on and it wouldn't do anything, no flicker or anything.

So, what should I do with it? I am not very techy so if it needs more work than basic dissasembly, I probably can't do it. Nothing is corroded or damaged, it just doesn't work all of a sudden.

It is a classy looking light and my wife liked the feel and look but I have no idea what to do with it.

Dead ? .......... the Trustfire light .... or the battery ?

Are you knowledgeable about the type of battery you put into it ?

When I got it, I put a AAA battery in it and it worked. I replaced the battery with several different ones but none even got a flash. Totally dead and doesn't seem to have anything to do with what kind of battery is in it. Clicky seems to be in good shape and clicks like it should so I don't think the problem is that either.

I am stumped. I bet you light hounds could get it working. Anyone want to trade me something for it?

I would honestly just buy her a better quality light. The iTP EOS A3 is very reasonably priced, but much better quality.
