Hi,

I'd like to know whether the TwoFish LockBlock can be mounted on my oversize mtb handlebar? I hv the Fenix bike mount, but it cant be mounted on my handlebar. Thanks!. |:)

Yes, it can. I have one on 31.8mm bars, and have had no issues whatsoever.

Does anyone know if it can take a 30-32 mm flashlight body as well?

It should. I once used it on a D cell maglite for a short time.

There are 2 versions of the lockblock. One has upgraded velcro and a nylon strap backing for the velcro. THAT is the one you want.

It is made of very "stretchable" rubber, and should accommodate a wider tube without problems.
Up to a point!
6-7 mm's oversize should go.
I have a 1 " tube (a Leef 18650 tube) in it, and it is not stretched out at all.
Also have an oversized/tapered handlebar which it mounts to without any problems.

A cheap alternative to lockblocks are a couple of jubilee clips, one looped through the other. You can put a bit of old inner tube around the torch and handlebar to improve grip and prevent scratching. It does mean that you need a screwdriver to remove the torch though.

My bike currently uses that setup to attach two £10 Tesco 3W Cree torches to the bars. I don't bother trying to remove them when I lock up my bike. I'd probably feel differently if they weren't so cheap, though!
