Expense and machining costs aside, wouldn't Rhodium be the ultimate flashlight material?
It has good thermal conductance (more than half that of Al.) and has excellent electrical conductance,
hence one of its applications being electrical contacts.
Furthermore it is highly corrosion-resistant, does not form an oxide layer and is also extremely strong, much more so than Ti.
