Ultra Fire 10440 3.6V 500mAh - I haven't seen these mentioned. It seems like they would produce great run times in 1xAAA flashlights (like the LD01). Is there anything wrong with them?

They do not really have a capacity of 500mAh... more like 350, I think.

They are not anything like 500mAh. I'd say at best, maybe 250mAh and that's being optimistic. AW's consistently out run the UltraFires, in both runtime and voltage sag. I'd say his are about 300mAh.
One other thing about the UltraFires, they are longer, and as such, won't fit into some AAA lights, eg. Arc mania's Extreme III.
